A search for perfection!
One has an idea of who he wants to be and sets out on a journey in an attempt to be.
More often than not, one is not who he wants to be, yet struggles to be.
The struggle to be poses more challenges than he hoped there to be.
Over many a rock, trench, wood and damn, light, he hopes to see.
En route, many a man, in light, one does see.
Men who travelled another path, one he did not see.
Paths with lesser rock and trench, known to him to be.
Changes path, one does, in hope, light, to see.
Comes back to the erstwhile path, one does, for he no longer is, who he wants to be.
Who he shall be, one shall see.

Yes, perfection does drive people nuts. And so we, 'lesser mortals' are content with the beauty of imperfection :) So damn well-written :)
